Scott Webb Joins Nickel Motorsports for June 26 NASA Pro Racing Western Endurance Racing Championship at Buttonwillow Raceway
Round 3 of NASA’s 2010 Western Endurance Racing Championship takes the green flag at Buttonwillow Raceway on Saturday, June 26 with a new team on the grid. Nickel Motorsports has entered their Lexus IS 300 with drivers Scott Webb, Tim Nickel and John Klusendorf behind the wheel. Nickel Motorsports is no stranger to endurance racing, having taken on the challenge of the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in 2009. The team is sponsored by the Law Offices of Nuttall and Coleman (http://www.nuttallcoleman.com/) and TAP Auto Recycling (http://www.fresno-taprecycling.com/).
Come on out and spend the afternoon/evening watching all the racing action. Temps are expected to be in the 70’s during the race, which is scheduled to take the green flag at 6:30 pm. Buttonwillow Raceway Park is only about two hours north of Los Angeles and within sight of the 5 freeway at the Lerdo Highway exit. NASA has a full schedule of wheel-to-wheel racing on Saturday, including enduro qualifying at noon (schedule – http://socal.drivenasa.com/SchedBWjune.pdf).
